O artigo é de 20 de fevereiro de 2010. Eles ficaram em exposição no Vitra Museum de 16 de maio de 2009 a 28 de fevereiro de 2010!
Today, I went to Weil am Rhein, Germany at the Vitra Museum. Until next week, there is there an exhibition of the Campana brothers, quite great Brazilian designers. I thought I didn’t know them, but actually I had already put a picture of one of their objects on my blog! It was for my article about Melissa shoes, when my blog was all small. (...)
But it was not the last time the Campana brothers worked with the world of fashion. This winter, they collaborated with Lacoste for a limited edition of T-shirts on which there is not one crocodile, but many grouped together. This is a reference to the behaviour of crocodiles in Brazil during the dry period, when they have to live one upon the others. It happens in the area of Pantanal, when the bed of the river gets dry. (The) huge sofa is also about this theme.
People aren’t allowed to take pictures in the museum, but still I took one of this light (and it’s been a good idea as I can find it nowhere on the web!). I find it beautiful. And I also got you a few pictures of objects which are there, it’s not been easy to choose as their work is very rich and various!
I completely had a crush on this armchair covered with stuffed animals, I want to make one for me! And it’s the same for these window decorations (which were made specially for the exhibitions and which are a lot more beautiful in real). Anyway, if you’re not living too far go there quickly (the exhibition finishes next week), you’ll see that it’s really worth the trip!
